Remlin Art
who is Remlin?
While I go by Rem/Remlin online, and use RemlinArt as my handle on places where I post my art, my real name is Erin Elmore. I am a proud artist, drawing nearly every day since I was 14, and often since I was quite young. I am from the California East Bay, and I grew up in Antioch.
Remlin resembles “gremlin,” but also was just a clever mix of REM sleep and goblin, so the resemblance is more of a happy accident. I’ve always had very vivid dreams, and as I approached my 30’s I’ve grown to value my sleep, and often will fall asleep at my desk in the middle of the day if I haven’t gotten much rest.
Subject Matter?
As an artist I love creating things you want to keep looking at. Textures, finishes, colors that draw you in. But subject matter is different. A lot of my work is inspired by stories and things I love sure, but most of my personal work is a complicated blend of sex appeal, true beauty, religion, and death, using gothic motifs.
I’ve experienced a lot of loss in my life, and it’s something that continues to drive me to create is my continuous appreciation for the ability to love, and experience emotion. It wouldn’t hurt so much if I didn’t love them right?
I’m very inspired by Zdzislaw Beksinski, John Martin, H.R. Geiger, as many before me. I am also taken aback by the works of artists I am closer to, like Peter Mohrbacher, Apterus Graphics, Inkwell, Kelogsloops, Pluvium Grandis- and especially some of my newest creator friends.
Experience in the field?
I’ve had my shop open for 3 years now, and have recently stepped into the world of conventions, where I am learning quite a lot about merchandise design, and not limited to static illustration. I have ventured into PNG Tuber territory since February, pixel art, oil painting, minor animation, 3D modeling, sticker production, charm design, desk mat and mouse pad design, and so many more to come. I really look forward to this coming season and what it has in store for me.
Catch me live on my Twitch channel, where I livestream Wednesday through Friday!
I stream art and video games, and sometimes we talk about life and what it means to be human, sometimes I will go on a tangent about certain creative decisions made in the things I love.

I upload all of my streams to YouTube, so if you missed a stream, you can see it here! This one is my longest stream to date, where I finished the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC.
